Growing up, it has always been in my bucket list to bring my parents to travel somewhere I really love. Alhamdulillah on 29th Jan 2025, I was able to do just that.
Day 01 & 02 - SG - Colombo
We arrived Colombo at 9pm and met up with Mr Ramu [+94 77 606 7282] and checked in to Grand Bell Colombo.
Day 02 started with exploring the beautiful Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque
Followed by lunch at Ministry of Crab
Garlic Chili is 10/10
We end the day with a slow sunset walk near Galle Face Green.
Day 03 - Visit an Elephant sanctuary
We left Colombo to make our way to Nuwara Eliya and since it was a 5 hour drive, we decide and was recommended by Mr Ramu to dropby an elephant sanctuary near the Rambukkana region.
We check into Cheriz Hotel, Nuwara Eliya and call it a night.
Day 04 - Damro Tea Plantation
Specifically booked the Cheriz for this view.
When in Damro, the tea cake is a must try!
Day 05 & 06 - Mirissa
Laiqa has been asking for the beach since we set foot in Sri Lanka. We checked in to Swell Shack and spent our remaining days in Sri Lanka here.
Just look at that smile!
Day 07 - The Cliff, Weligama
We ended our trip at the most scenic sunset restaurant.
