Plank walk on the World's No.1 Precipitous Mountain
Kickstarted 2016 by kicking 'Plank walk on the World's No.1 Precipitous Mountain' of the bucket list with my kickass-in friends - Boon, Yana and Farhan.
The plank walk is located on the South Peak of Mount Huashan and it would take about 15mins to reach the end. The plank walk is suggested as one of the world's most dangerous trail and I couldn't agree on better. Even though they have included safety harness, there wasn't any safety briefing and what's keeping you safe are small ropes attached on the rocks.
I guess the scariest part is getting to the plank itself than actually walking on the plank. To get to the plank, we have to do a steep decline relying on a self-made metal rod ladder and climb down through only toe hole cut.
Once at the plank, it was actually quite fun and the beautiful landscape that surrounds you will quickly overtake the fear has you immersed in them.
All in all, it is not as scary as it is marketed all over the internet and definitely an experience to accomplish.
